I like it.
Another big target for SD in the red zone and third down must have situations.
Yakima native baby!!! Whoooohooooo! Bring him home JS.

Can get a Yakima kid to sign in Seattle...
But Dipoto won't even sniff Snell or Conforto.

$45 Million buckaroos. Might've overpaid a tad but this is good addition imho.

Let's sign Teven Jenkins Monday and call it a wrap on free agency.
Only thing about him is injury prone.
Go draft some "BEEF" for the OLine and some speedy receivers.

$15mil per for a guy that has averaged playing in 11 games the past three seasons. Seems JS has a thing for FAs in their thirties with recent injury histories.
Re: Breaking: Hawks set to sign Kupp
I'm betting the actual terms are more team-friendly, no more than half of it guaranteed. probably more like a two-year deal in that regard.Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Fri Mar 14, 2025 11:40 pm$15mil per for a guy that has averaged playing in 11 games the past three seasons. just heard the stats on KJR that for his last 51 games played (3 full seasons worth) he has averaged 105 catches and well over 1,000 years per season.
trouble is that's taken at least four years to accumulate, so just have to have some other depth like we havent ever really had here. i fully expect hawks to draft one or two more receivers - look for an outside guy as we're already redundant at slot with our top 2 now.

That's the thing with a lot of these deals, they're not guaranteed and the player has to produce to collect beyond the guaranteed money.57reasons wrote: ↑Fri Mar 14, 2025 11:52 pmI'm betting the actual terms are more team-friendly, no more than half of it guaranteed. probably more like a two-year deal in that regard.Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Fri Mar 14, 2025 11:40 pm$15mil per for a guy that has averaged playing in 11 games the past three seasons. Man, I love this. If Kupp can take the field for all 17 games, that's two 100-catch receivers, and Valdes-Scantling can stretch the field for Kupp and JSN.
Now let's get some freaking blockers.
Re: Breaking: Hawks set to sign Kupp
This. I think this could be a low key baller pick up - great route runner, always seems to find the soft spots in zones, good hands. Now they go into the draft NOT in desperation mode for a QB or wide outs. Hopefully this is an incentive laden contract, cause $15 mill is definitely steep. I like all these moves so far. He's hugely popular down here.DavidGee24 wrote: ↑Sat Mar 15, 2025 12:47 amThat's the thing with a lot of these deals, they're not guaranteed and the player has to produce to collect beyond the guaranteed money.57reasons wrote: ↑Fri Mar 14, 2025 11:52 pmI'm betting the actual terms are more team-friendly, no more than half of it guaranteed. probably more like a two-year deal in that regard.Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Fri Mar 14, 2025 11:40 pm$15mil per for a guy that has averaged playing in 11 games the past three seasons. Had he been healthy the last 2 seasons... he would have hung 1,000 with 10 TD's both years.
Lockett played all 17 games and had just 600 yards and 2 TD's yet people are bitching and crying that the Hawks don't want to pay him basically the same $$ that they just gave Kupp who is a far better player.
