Back in 03 Huard came out fishing on my dad's charter boat. I instantly recognized him and tried talking foot ball with him through out the day. The man was so incredibly brain dead. Only thing he pretty much said all day was 'shes a hell of a boat capt' from the movie the Perfect Storm

Really? Weird. His brother must have got all of the brains and charisma.

Did you see out he just stopped on that run back? It was like he had money on the Ducks.

They were down 24 to 20 when he made the pick with 50 seconds to go. Huard probably knew the game was over whether he was tackled or not. It sure looks like he gave up.

well i cant really blame players for not wanting to talk shop with random fans with whom they have no previous relationship. in the early 90s i attended the same church as Michael Sinclair, and tried to engage him one time on the upcoming Raiders matchup, to no avail. similar result with Bill (not Billy) North, former A's and Giants centerfielder. then the funniest was 6 years ago having lunch with my pastor, and Bill Russell takes a seat at a table right across from us. The pastor is awestruck and distracted, finally approaches him for a selfie or autograph, and gets completely shut down - "Leave him alone; do you know how many times..." his wife scowls at the intruder. the price of celebrity i guess.

Whooa! I wasn’t ready for that. I would sure like to see the Dawgs whip the Ducks tomorrow. This is one of the bigger games in the Petersen era. A win would pretty much wipe away the sting of the Bay Area losses.
