Eddie the Eagles game thread
Re: Eddie the Eagles game thread
I have the Comcast Sports package for like $9.99 a month. I get NFL red zone and P12 network. My favorite feature is just being about to hit a button on my remote which pulls up all games and all sports currently being broadcast and I just scroll down and hit enter without ever having to search for what network a game is on.

Yeah, that was what I meant....I imagine our intensity diminished some. I am not worried about a game were we had a 20 point lead late, let our foot off the gas and still won by 10. That being said, it doesn't sound like Hopkins agrees with you and I. He mentioned it in the post game a few times. I sure like that guy...the article ab out him talking about Chris Petersen in yesterday's paper was pretty cool too. I complain a lot about coaching, usually the OC in football, but the pic of Petersen on the cover of the paper yesterday broke my heart. These guys go through a lot. I sure hope the two we have now are around for a long time. I am excited for Lake, but will sure miss Pete.Captain 97 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 05, 2019 4:07 pmThey tightened the score by fouling us and making a bunch of 3's in the last minute while we were trying to run out the clock. I wouldn't worry too much about that.Michael K. wrote: ↑Thu Dec 05, 2019 6:06 amPercy tweeted that Timmons hit a three...the first one since his freshman year. They did have the lead go from 18 to 10 though. Eastern actually out scored us in the second half...so obviously we lost a little intensity.
Not that I would know, since like most of the Nation I don’t get Larry Scott’s ridiculous Network. Divish tweeted about that....seems the game wasn’t even in HD? Is that true?

That also means you have to have cable, and maybe this is different in your area, but cable sucks balls. I may switch to Dish, but losing the Sunday Ticket by switching from DirecTv just kills me. Not to mention the 47,000 shows I have on my DVR!D-train wrote: ↑Thu Dec 05, 2019 4:48 pmI have the Comcast Sports package for like $9.99 a month. I get NFL red zone and P12 network. So with Sunday ticket you can watch every game in its entirety? My ADHD loves red zone. I have had cable since it was called viacom and they had those brown "remote" boxes tethered to the TV set with a cord and you would push one button down and another would pop up. I'm loyal man!

Yes, if you choose
I have Red Zone I also have two different channels that will split my screen. One shows four games at once, and the other 8 games at once. Which really only works on like an 80 inch screen. But the 4 screen one works well. The afternoon games are awesome. At a commercial of the Seahawks game I flip to the four screen...as soon as the Seahawk game shows up in it's screen I previous channel back. I haven't watched a commercial during an NFL football game in years!
I moved into this house in 2008, and have had DirecTv ever since. Really, not one single complaint besides the lack of Pac 12, and the Bar you and I went to a couple of years ago has it, so oh well. That being said, I firmly believe the Pac 12 is suffering far more than DirecTv over that lack of partnership, so hard for me to be upset with Direct.
