Man, what a debacle. Hannes Steinbach was awesome and a top-ten of all-time Husky but he'll end up having the same one-and-done season like Markelle Fultz that almost seems like it never even happened. There's no way in hell he returns. Zoom Diallo was the only other player worth a damn.
What a bunch of terrible shooters, 313th out of 361 in three-point shooting. Wesley Yates went from shooting 48% from the field last season for USC to shooting 37% from the field for UW, at one point having a 3-27 stretch over three games on three-point shooting. Quimari Peterson went from shooting 47% for East Tennessee State last season to 39% for UW this season. Lathan Sommerville went from shooting 51% for Rutgers last season to 44% for UW this season. How the hell is that even possible? Even Navajo Valley Frybread Culinary Institute can shoot the rock better than these Huskies can.
With the revolving door that the basketball program has, UW hoops probably won't ever again be any good.
