I was talking with a buddy I played HS ball with the other day. Granted, we played in the late 80s and early 90s, so it was a different game. I asked him if he could imagine missing 9 shots in HS, especially from three. Both of us said...nope, because we’d be taken out after missing 3!DavidGee24 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 03, 2020 4:38 amAnd this is the kid shooting 33 percent from the field over three seasons. Why in the world is he even being ALLOWED to shoot ten threes? Or any, for that matter? It makes no sense.Michael K. wrote: ↑Wed Dec 02, 2020 5:08 pmI couldn't believe the stat lines. Besides Quade, no one showed up. 1 for 10 from three? How is that even possible? If I hit one of ten my coach would have never let me shoot another, and it CERTAINLY wouldn't have gone down in one game.

Crazy thing is he is 6'9"! Let's see I am 3 inches short of being a 7 footer and I am 1-9 from 3 point land. Should I go down low and maybe try to make a shot around the rim vs. an under sized community college team or should I head back out beyond the 3 point line and cast up my 10th three point attempt of the game?!?!?!?Michael K. wrote: ↑Thu Dec 03, 2020 4:17 pmI was talking with a buddy I played HS ball with the other day. Yeah, my buddy and I talked a bit about the Huskies last night. It sucks that Carter is apperantly suspended, so we talked about the new rotation. Hop said they were tired after playing back to back games, which was funny because Baylor beat us the night after playing another game, but he also mentioned a new rotation with more Guards. Which is also funny...you have a Forward shooting ten threes in a rotation with mostly Guards? No wonder you missed 50 shots but only got 4 Offensive Rebounds!?
Sorry, I am starting to get on board with the guys calling for his job. A multi Guard rotation where one of the few guys you have who isn't a Guard shoots ten threes? And misses 9 of them! Genius.
