has to be football - no sane person would rank the bball team that high!

After the Oregon State game you had us going 1-5. Now you have us going undefeated. Talk about a roller coaster

Think about how different things might be if we hadn’t caught that kid on the sidelines after the Hail Mary was picked off!? I am sure the coaches are praising that kid. At 21 to 0, with us mounting no semblance of an offense, that didn’t seem that huge at the time. Sure turned out to be!Captain 97 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 30, 2020 9:23 pmAfter the Oregon State game you had us going 1-5. Now you have us going undefeated. Talk about a roller coaster![]()
At halftime, I was wondering if three wins on the year was even possible. Then feared what might happen if a well rested Cougar team got to play us to finish the year at home, with their new found rush attack and our zero offense!
DT isn’t the only one that has been on a roller coaster this year. We have about 6 real food quarters of football and 6 real bad ones. I can excuse the 4th against Arizona, and even though I think we were pretty bad for three or so quarters against the Beavers, I feel the weather had a lot to do with that. But what the heck was the first half Saturday Night!?

It didn't help that they put the cheerleaders in against the Mildcats. Win that game 44-13 or better and it probably gets them another couple spots.

Yeah, I would like to believe that the people who make those decisions know a little more about football. The score was 37 to 0 and 44 to 7 before we really called off the Dawgs...but I hear you. If you look at the Polls, USC is 20th and the Huskies are 23rd. They don't care what happens in the Pac 12...they aren't going to get any love. Which is Bullshit when you consider that Ohio State hasn't played anyone and is 4 and 0 but 4th and the damn Wisconsin Badgers are 2 and 1 and in freaking 16th!DavidGee24 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 03, 2020 4:33 amIt didn't help that they put the cheerleaders in against the Mildcats. The system is broken, but it won't matter until a Conference that isn't the Pac 12 gets screwed. Georgia is 6 and 2 and 8th? North Carolina is 6 and 3 and 17th? It is ridiculous. If you want to be relevant you can't play in the Left Corner. In a season where no one has played Non Conference? That seems odd.
