If the team keeps struggling on offense and losing games Petersen will have no choice but to sack Hamdan or else take a lot of heat for doing nothing.

Oh wait, i forgot we're talking about the Seattle media. There won't be much heat.
Nope, the Seattle media will run a puff piece about how what a great guy he is, and how he must be a fantastic coach because he replaced a guy that was hired as a Head Coach.

Adrian Beltre was an MVP candidate before he got here, was a light hitting defensive 3rd Baseman while here, and an MVP candidate every year after he left. And the fans and media here treat him like the GOAT.

The ultimate "Seattle Media" enabled athlete was Vin Baker, the guy the Sonics got in the 3-way trade that sent Kemp to the Cavaliers. He was an all-star for the Milwaukee Bucks, then he comes to Seattle and turns into a spineless lump of cow manure while being one of the highest paid players in the league.

The media demanding answers might not matter, but the more I listen to Husky coaches the more angry I get. Let's just look into the discussions that have happened just inside this forum.

In Petersen's 1st year the offense was down right terrible. I was hammered on for being critical of that, told that it isn't Pete's fault that the QB sucks. We had two other four star QBs on the bench...but, I was told stars don't matter. The QBs suck.

In Pete's second year the offense wasn't much better. I was told that is because the QB was a Freshman. It isn't his fault. The starting QB was a highly touted recruit, as were the backups. Not his fault, the guys on the bench sucked and Browning was too young.

In Pete's third year? The offense was AMAZING. I told many in here, if this is what was happening in the first two years, to get to this, then the growing pains were worth it. Then, the guy who was brought in that year to hold the offensive coordinator's hand, Jeff Tedford, got hired away. What happens next?

The offense in Pete's fourth year regressed greatly. In the end we won games simply because Gaskin wouldn't let us lose. Period, end of story I was told it isn't their fault, John Ross was gone. Guess what? Drew Sample, Will Dissley and Daunte Pettis were on that team. Those guys are now on NFL rosters. The QB was average at best.

Year five? Even worse. If not for Gaskin we probably lose three more games. The offense continues to sputter. It's not their fault, the QB sucks. The same QB who guys gave me the "I told you so" his Sophomore year now sucks? Or did we have no idea how to develop him. We won games were Browning threw for less than 100 Yards! Browning goes to one post season camp and the coach their adds velocity to his throwing motion because in one day he realizes Jake isn't using his legs!

Now? We have a first round pick at QB, the best O Line in the Conference and some talented WRs ( don't always get on the field though) and we have failed many times because is critical third down plays we take that first round pick OF THE FIELD! He has struggled terribly against a Stanford defense that coming in was on of the worst in the NCAA in pass defense.

So, are we in year six and it is still the talent's fault? The QBs still suck? NO....maybe someone in the media hounding him would force him to hire an OC with a clue, or maybe it would just make me feel better....no clue. What I do know is this team shouldn't suck in the Red Zone and shouldn't be the worst offense in the Conference on 3rd down!

Hours before a home matchup with a top 10 Conference for, and nothing on this forum and all the KIRO is talking about is Hawks.

If we had a clue how to run an offense, Gameday would have been in Seattle today. How disappointing.

But unlike Beltre, at least he was courteous enough to continue declining after he left.

We will win the last three games of the season, act as if that matters, then get our ass kicked in a Bowl game as a heavy favorite. We have come full circle...right back to Coach Pete's first season. And if my ex-girlfriend showed up right now to waive her multi million dollar estate in my face I probably would still be less pissed than I am from watching this pathetic team this year. Absofuckinglutely disgusted. But hey, we looked good against Eastern!

Get it figured out Pete...otherwise get the ef outta the way.

Out scored 30 to 7 for two and a half quarters. That is Ty Willingham like.

You guys realize that they could actually lose their last three games (and it is very possible the way this team has just quit) and end up not going to a bowl?
