Oddsmakers had him as the frontrunner to go to Mich during their search for a reason. I would assume that was partly because when asked about his future he didn't deny interest in the job.

Regardless, it wouldn't have been in breach of the contract. Coaches have those kinds of things written into contracts all the time. Imagine if Joe Burrow was a Free Agent, and the Seahawks signed him to a huge FA contract, and two days later Joe announced he was still a Free Agent, and all we heard was that the Rams had swooped in and made him a bigger offer. Would you just say "well, coaches do it all the time", and then compare it to a coach that has been there for two fucking years?

2. His attorney announced he is still with him.

Doesn't change the fact that college football created this shitshow by waiting until a court order forced them to do the right thing, but now it's so fucked up it can't be fixed.

Also doesn't change the fact that I don't want Demond Williams anywhere near this program, and I hope he ends up in LSU, and this circus not only follows him, but he has a miserable end of his career.
