It's time for Jimmy to take a long hard look. When we lose? We cant get off the field because we play a fucking 3 -2 defense against teams than run power. I dont give a flying fuck how many good DBs you have, recruit a fucking linebacker or two you fucking joker.
Utah kicked our asses on the ground, because we played 6 DBs all game. NOBODY should line up on first fucking down against Utah or Stanford with 2 LBs. But Jimmy coaches against everyone like they are Leach.
And the WRs and the TE who dropped balls? Sit them the fuck down. How do Otten and Ty Jones need to compete for targets with these MFers that can't catch!?
Disgusting. Stanford is the worst team we will play all year. After Oregon beats us next week? WSU is gonna run for 200 yards....in the first fucking half!

Right now, i'm not too enthusiastic about UW football and badketball with Lake and Hopkins running things. We may well be in for a very dismal stretch this decade.

Did the coaches make some adjustments during half-time or did UW just execute better? Two straight games of digging a 3 score hole does not reflect well on their game plans and preparation.Michael K. wrote: ↑Sun Dec 06, 2020 12:27 amIt's time for Jimmy to take a long hard look. He has a lot of Pete in him. Punting down 21 to 3 on their side of the field before the half was fucked up....but, that is the way it is for the teams I root for!

Sorry, I just cant get over the fact that in a game against Stanford, our a announced starting defense was 3 DL, 2 LB, and 6 DBs. If Jimmy was an ex O Lineman he would probably sit his QB to get an extra O Lineman on the field.

And they blew their opportunity to clinch the North division as the Sucks lost to Go See Cal. Wow, the Sucks didn't score a single point in the second half.

I am still just blown away. How the fuck does anyone think what we went into the first quarter on defense with was a good idea? Five and six DBs against a team that runs their offense with extra lineman, TEs and Fullbacks? What film was Jimmy watching when that seemed like the right idea? Stanford had their second straight TD before Jimmy decided to put a 3rd LB on the field!?
And please tell me why we gave two looks on the first drive to a TE...not named Otten!? Our pass catchers are limited at best, shitty at worst. Nakua was out, Bynum was out, and Otten and Ty Jones got their first god damn targets in the 3rd quarter. Oh, and our O Line? Seriously, they suck ass. We haven’t been able to run the ball in what, 9 quarters?

Mind Boggling and makes one seriously doubt if Lake is up to the task of being a HC.Michael K. wrote: ↑Sun Dec 06, 2020 7:49 pmI am still just blown away. Re: If a Tree falls at Montlake and nobody is there to see it GT
I thought we were lucky. He always seemed to have his group fired up when he coached the DBs...but much like last year, this group seems to have no energy now. I thought Kwiatkowski was actually a better play caller on defense than Jimmy, but besides three quarters against ASU and the second half against OSU and Utah? The defense is pretty bad. Add it that most of our pass catchers can’t catch, Newton is out, and our biggest weapon is a TE that we seem to forget we have until the game is out of hand? Kind of a scary issue.
Where was the defense up front yesterday? Is there a worse LB in D 1 that Jackson Sirmon? Did ZTF even play? That huge man we line of at DT? Has he been in the backfield once since week 1? This is the second year in a row Stanford has played us with far less talent, did NOTHING we didn’t know they would do, and bloodied the shit out of our lips. WTF did they do all week? Stanford looked like the team practicing at their facilities and sleeping in their own beds. We were an embarrassment.
