Hopkins to step down!

Post by Sibelius Hindemith » Wed Feb 12, 2020 5:45 pm

Oh sorry, was just day-dreaming.

So, how many years are left on his contract?
At least he isn't black and/or an alum which should make it easier to let himwalk or fire his ***.

He took a dumpster fire with no recruits to the first tourney appearance in how many years? You might be reaching some.

Dollar is another Romar type of coach, seemingly unable to instill discipline in his players. Why he is on this staff is puzzling. Can him and hire someone that can at least get players to execute fundamentals.

Did you watch them play Baylor? The coach isn’t the issue, at least not when it comes to discipline. Is he supposed to bench them all? They’ve quit...maybe you can blame coaches for that...maybe they are choking because they have no veteran leaders? Hard to blame a coach in his third year for that...especially when his biggest recruit left for the pros after two years.

If Nowell staid, McDoofus never shows up, and this team is in the top 12 right now. Hell, if Green stayed eligible they are probably Top 20 right now even without Nowell.

I feel that there are issues going on behind the scenes that we don't know about. I am not sure what they are but something is going on that has wrecked this team mentally.

Yeah, this is just a year that has inexplicably been flushed down the toilet, this team blew several big second-half leads and now they're not even trying. Hopkins has done nothing but succeed up until this season so we'll have to give him a pass on this one and see what happens next season even though Stewart might well be one-and-done.

Yeah, Stewart will be gone but Twiggy will be back to wreck another season.

Went from up 5 to down five in about three minutes of second half action. I have honestly never seen a basketball team be so inept for such long stretches. It’s like watching the Seahawks in the first half!
