It's all about Chemistry

Post by AZOldDawg » Fri Feb 14, 2020 6:43 pm

It has obviously been painful to watch the demise of the Husky's given the pre season hype. Green appears to have been the glue that kept them in tact. I don't think I've ever watched a team with less chemistry that this year's crew. The parts simply don't fit and I wouldn't even bet on "experience" fixing it over time. The best team I ever had in high school wasn't the most talented but they were so "together" it was scary. They once ran a special out of bounds play vs. pressure during a live clock that can only be run with a dead clock on their own that went so smoothly for a lay in that the coach of the other team couldn't get the official's attention before the ball was in-bounded again. There are probably a ton of "stuff" going on we don't know about and I feel sorry for Coach Hop because the only answer to bad chemistry is different players. Time will tell but all is not well in Husky City and it's probably going to take more than we think to fix it.

You echo my thoughts on this team so well. There is talent on this team but not more than 3 functioning brain cells collectively.
The chemistry is like they all smoke a couple of joints before the game and then shoot up with Novocaine.
Rocky Colavito is a Hall of Famer in my book!

If its about chemistry I would say they are "super"man and the basketball is element #36 Krypton(ite).

It's the coaches' jobs to get the pieces to fit. They have been awful.
