The polls are stupid

Post by Michael K. » Mon Nov 30, 2020 8:13 pm

So, we beat Oregon State, and are undefeated...but ranked below the Ducks who lost to Oregon State. More proof that the people voting stop even looking at teams west of Texas. I didn’t look, but are the two loss Georgia Bulldogs in the Final 4 yet!?

CFP comes out tomorrow night......afternoon for you guys.

The thing that struck me about his is that title. Week 14. Week 14 and we have played 3 games.

The Big 10 and PAC 12 screwed themselves...somewhat. I mean, if there was ever a year to not care about the Final 4, this would be the year. The SEC, ACC, and Big 12 may have actually been a bit hasty, but they really haven’t had much worse cancellations than the other two...they just left themselves some wiggle room. Wisconsin is already ineligible for the Big 10 Championship (though with their loss it might not matter) and Ohio State is in danger. With Michigan and Pennsylvania State being down? We might see two ACC and two SEC teams in the a Final 4!

Notre Dame will be there. Are they independent or did they join a conference for football only?

Here is the CPF poll. We are ranked behind 5 teams with at least 2 losses. At least we are ahead of Oregon. You have to change the year from 2017 to 2020.

No clue what is up for basketball, but they are ACC in football, for this year. Maybe them and BYU can start their own Conference some day?

Haha, and Wisconsin, with the same number of games as us, AND a loss, are ahead of us by several spots. What a crock. Last night I listened to these guys talk about how Ohio State deserves in, how they can beat anyone in the Country!? How the hell does anyone know? All we know is how teams stack up against teams in their own conference, and even that is a limited sample size!
