New football unis to be unveiled next Wednesday

Today marks the first day of UW Athletics' switch to Adidas, and the media will get to view them tomorrow but photos and videos are prohibited. We all need to wait a week later. I hope they go back to a more traditional look but I assume they'll have different uni and helmet combos.

I personally like them, no more of that weird shoulder pattern that was supposed to resemble the "jaws" of Husky Stadium. There's also no more white or black helmets (no black alternate jerseys as well) although they kept the purple chrome ones.
By the way, dt, saw your post about the new TE commit the Dawgs landed after I made my post yesterday. Apologies!

I honestly don't even notice the difference. I guess I am not a uniform guy.

Oops, sorry, I skipped to the last post in the thread so I didn't get the context of your post. I thought you were "pimping" the new unis by saying "This is what I'm talking about" and then the link.

The Uni's Look Fine. I don't even mind the Purple Helmets once a year. I wish they would ditch the white pants though.

I didn't really like the numbers on the Nike jerseys from last year. But, to be honest, it took my wife commenting on them for me to notice. I just don't worry that much about the uniforms. I loved the old school uniforms from the good old days in the late 80s and early 90s, but I didn't freak out nearly as much as some with the different colored helmets or the black jerseys.
