This past Weds., the Huskies got their second win of the season and first PAC-12 victory. They now stand at 2-11, 1-7 in the conf.

11-3 Colorado came to town and had a 4-point halftime lead, but succumbed to the best Dawg half of the season. UW wins 84-80, sending the Buffaloes to their 4th loss.

The best Washington player of the game was Marcus Tsohonis off the bench who poured in 27 points on 9-13 shooting including 4-6 from beyond the arc, 5-5 from the charity stripe.
Geez, seems like forever ago I said he should be starting.

Colorado bested the Dawgs on the boards, in assists, had more steals and blocks.
The ultimate factor is they were cold from 3-point land, going 1-18 while he Huskies were 12-25.

Huskies entertain the 3-5 (6-6 overall) Utes tomorrow, Sunday, at 1:00 P.M. I'll try to follow a bit from work.

Put that one in the "blind squirrel" category. I mean, i had already assumed all the Huskies were blind based on how they have shot the ball previously this season.

So it takes the miracle of us shooting almost .500 from 3 point land and the other team going 1-18 to win by four. That might be even more discouraging than a loss..........

Yep, the expected numbers based on shooting percentages would have been more like UW 6 for 25 and Colorado 6 for 18, so UW would have scored 18 less and Utah would have scored 15 more. A 33 point turnaround there which would have resulted in a 29 point Colorado victory.
