Isn't that what we have run against Stanford the last three or so years? Works so well against extra TEs and a FB! :shock:

Pretty sure Stanford went on 3 straight long TD drives in the first half last year before we added another LB. And even at that we STILL had 5 DBs on the field! Mind blowing. Jimmy whines about us getting out physicalled, yet plays more Nickel and Dime defense against power run teams than anyone ever. Then thumps his chest because he beats the Air Raid.

I actually have begun to lose all faith in him. Last year was a prime example. Got destroyed out of the gate against Pro Style Utah, got lucky and came back and won...yet doubles down the very next week against the tree!

Sropping the Pirate and those gimmick offenses AZ has run the past few years shouldn't be what we thumpnour chest about. Beat Oregon and Stanford, for Fuck's sake! Win a Bowl game against someone that isn't a Directional U! Remember when we expected to play in AND win New Year's Day games?

I can't remember the last time I thought we'd win a major bowl game....and until we finally beat BSU in Petersen's farewell game? What was Coach Pete? 1 and 4 in Bowl games?
