OT-2025 March Madness
Are we all going to do brackets for March Madness?
DT, are you going to set that up through your CBS sports "thingie"?

The league from last time still exists. I filled mine out but looks like nobody else did.

I just filled out mine as well.
Mil, thanks for pointing out that we can still do that.

Re: OT-2025 March Madness
I completely lost interest. I barely watched college football this Fall, and that is very unlike me. I understand these kids have rights, but the NIL and Transfer Portal have made it nearly impossible to keep up. I had already lost interest in basketball since I coach in the Spring (now in the Fall again as well), and the one and done situation just made it tough. It used to be easier to follow when the Huskies had a team too, but I never got the Pac 12 Network, and they weren't worth watching anyway. Remember when that team with two 5 Star Freshman beat the #1 ranked team in the Country (Baylor ?) in December or January, and then basically lost every Conference game they played? Both those kids have had lucrative Pro careers I believe.

I understand. Hell, I hate basketball at every level and NEVER have watched it.Michael K. wrote: ↑Fri Mar 21, 2025 4:59 pmI completely lost interest. But it won't stop me from playing the brackets.... but that may be because I don't really care how I do with this.
But I do feel differently about the golf games we have.

I used to be 100% in. I took Thursday and Friday off during March Madness. Obviously that ended about 13 or 14 years ago when I started coaching full time. Didn't make as much sense to take vacation days if I couldn't even have a few beers, and would have to leave in the middle of the afternoon anyway.Walla Walla Dawg II wrote: ↑Fri Mar 21, 2025 5:31 pmI understand. But the opening weekend of March Madness used to be one of my favorite times of the year.

I guess this is where I start to catch up with you......
I have 8 of the 16 left
You have 8 of the 16 left
I have 6 of the 8 left
You have 4 of the 8 left
I have 3 of the final 4
You have 2 of the final 4
Although things are skewing my direction, I still think I'll lose.

Re: OT-2025 March Madness
I drew #9 in my Sweet 16 poll (and I swear that every year I draw #9). I thought I had Alabama and was happy with that until the moderator said sorry, I messed up, they're taken, so I've got Texas Tech who barely squeaked past Arkansas and are probably going to get demolished by Florida today.
