Oilers beat up Kraken 5-2
The Kraken goalies aren't getting the job done. Tonight it was some guy named Daccord allowing 5 goals on 23 shots. I take it Grubauer didn't play because it was the second game in as many days, but i thought Driedger was the back-up.

So what is the level of interest out there at this point. Are people still into it or are there more fans of Seattle's lesbian lover sports stars?

Well, hockey is basically soccer on ice albeit faster paced and more violent, so i doubt it will appeal to the football/baseball/basketball type fans who like their sports less random and chaotic.

I think Driedger's injured. Daccord was a death sentence last night, although I think you can guarantee that if there's one team that will smoke us every time this season, it's the Oilers. But Daccord was awful. Two of those goals were on passes that floated through the crease that he was too slow to get the stick on. The defense did a great job on McDavid and still gave up five goals. That's what happens when you play your third-string goalie against an offensive juggernaut.Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Tue Nov 02, 2021 5:23 amThe Kraken goalies aren't getting the job done. We just don't have the goal-scorers. This is four straight games the Kraks have clearly outplayed the opposition but have lost the last two because they just can't make the shots that other teams' skill players make.

Personally I'm very into it, but I'm biased because I love hockey. I'm chapped that the Kraks are 3-7 whereas Vegas started 8-1, but there are 72 games left and a lot of things can happen. They only need to come in fourth in the division to make the playoffs and the division is terrible.
