All you have to know about this team is how fucking poor they all are at 1-on-1's against a goalie with no defense either in shootouts or when they get a penalty shot or breakaway. Even Eberle sucks at it time and time again. There is no one that offensively is very good at all. This team sucks.

I caught the highlights against the Gravelanche (haven't been watching the games themselves) and while goalies make the save in shootouts and on penalty shots about 2/3 of the time, there's no reason for Eberle to completely miss the shot. Ruined whatever chance they had to knock off the best team in the league so far this season.

They're not the worst team in the league, but they're the most untalented. Dead last in goals scored at only 2.49 per game, and their top scorer is on pace to score 53 points, and no other team in the league is even close to that. Now tied for the fourth-worst record (points-wise) in the league, and what's funny is that three of those teams are in the Pacific Division.

And then the Kraken go ZERO for THREE in shootout attempts again tonight. This team completely SUCKS at one-on-ones. They are so fucking bad at it. How can these stars making millions be so SHITTY at putting the puck into the net with no one but the goalie to beat?

That first one by Gaudreau was especially painful. Five fakes and then just stuffs the pick into the logo on their goalie's sweater.

I looked up their franchise shootout stats. YUCK. Bear in mind that shootout percentage is about 33%, almost a perfect 1/3.

NOTE: Grubauer only let in 2-16 (.125) as the only Kraken goalie to face shootouts in the inaugural season, so since then the goalies are getting blistered at a 31-70 (.443) clip.

Speaking of Grubauer, after last night's win his save percentage is .920. Where the hell has this been the last four years? He's not getting his logo peppered either, he's playing out of his mind.

Just watched my first full game in quite a while and they put it on the Ruins, a 7-spot. The youngsters are getting it done, Catton with his first two goals tonight.

If the Golden Showers and Soilers hadn't also won tonight the Kraken would actually be in first place.

Teamwork is really starting to come around and they're playing hard.

I still find Oleksiak in the middle of most scoring playing by the opposing team, standing around picking his nose.

Hope they can stay in a playoff spot this season.
