I'll pass on NBA in Seattle. They obviously don't want a team there, and frankly do not deserve to be in that area of the country.Michael K. wrote: ↑Thu Aug 27, 2020 2:55 pmdo we really even want the NBA here? The two favorites out of LA last night voted to end the season now! Millions go to work every day, and these guys can’t bring themselves to play a game?

If you go back and read the initial posts on here - guess what? The NBA ratings are WAY down - nearly 50% - as predicted during the covid "BLM Pandering" days. The league is in trouble - now imagine this - you are the NBA in desperate need of eyeballs and ratings - and your top team is in OKC. The league's worst nightmare is an OKC finals that literally no one will watch and I fucking LOVE LOVE LOVE it. Of course, the league will make sure they magically get upset by the Lakers so they can promote Lebraindead and Doncic. Just watch.

Obviously you didn't see LeBron on Christmas day reminding the NFL that Christmas Day is for the NBA. Too bad the ratings proved drastically the opposite! I simply can't watch the NBA, and really haven't gotten into College Basketball in some time. I used to take the first Thursday and Friday of March Madness off from work and do nothing but watch hoops all day. Now? All the one and dones and the transfer portal have made it utterly unwatchable. Larry Scott and his stupid ass TV deal didn't help, because for the longest time I couldn't watch the Pac 12 anyway.auroraave wrote: ↑Mon Mar 17, 2025 1:45 pm

100000% It is with great pleasure I watch the god-awful NBA crumble. I may be the only Jeep in LA still rocking Seattle Sonics license plate frames - and I get comments all the time. Funny how they keep teasing Seattle getting a team back - as if that is a good thing - because I could not care less. NBA is long dead to me. Not only would I not watch, the real comedy in all of it would be watching Seattle find a way to fuck it up and not call them the Sonics. They would 100000% fuck it up somehow because - well, it's Seattle. It'll be some left wing nonsense about the environment or a fucking starfish or a macchiato or or some insanely stupid shit no fan wants. The only thing anyone wants is the green and gold and the sonics back - but the city and the league killed that off, stupidly, because the city would not keep building new arenas every ten years. Buh Bye!Michael K. wrote: ↑Mon Mar 17, 2025 1:57 pmObviously you didn't see LeBron on Christmas day reminding the NFL that Christmas Day is for the NBA.
