Gold medal game

Wondering why there isn't a thread regarding this.
Canada could not score on an open net (repeatedly), and then the savior McDavid wheels down the ice, turns the puck over and boom! Game over.

Unfortunately the game was on at, what, 5 a.m. PST? Otherwise I would have liked to watch it.
Not digging the 3-on-3 format in OT in an Olympic final. They can go 5-on-5 or at the very least 4-on-4.

Yes, it was early.
I also think the 3-on-3 is a touch ridiculous but that's the way it is, and the players need to be mindful of that. Lots of ice, little room for error.
McDavid blew it, tried to be a hero with the puck and turned it over.

And now? It's all about Politics. I hate that everything has to be ruined by one side getting pissed off and feeling slighted by the other. It was stupid of the President to say what he did, but Jesus Christ. It didn't need to be this big of a deal.

I am SOOO very glad there isn't lasting proof of the dumb shit I did in the 80s and 90s. Just some disposable camera shots and some very foggy memories!
