Down 3-1 after two thanks to a bush league challenge on an offside that had zero effect. If it becomes apparent we're going to lose there needs to be some serious retaliation, maybe fire the puck into their bench.

1- 4 just another crappy ass local team to add to that awesome Seattle sports mix. Nice job by Francis the talking mule assembling this hockey juggernaut. Fuck you very much.

Yep, this team isn't going to be any good for a couple years.

Its pretty unbelievable but of the five major Seattle teams, Husky Football/Hoops, Mariners, Hawks and Kraken the M's future is by FAR the brightest.

... but the Sounders and Storm just keep on winning.

If there was a curling league or a women's ultimate frisbee league Seattle would undoubtedly dominate in those sports too.

There is a lot of season left, 77 games, but ten goals in five games is pretty awful and that part of it probably isn't going to get much better. I'll be shocked if this team averages three goals a game this season.
On top of it, this was supposed to be a defensive team yet Grubauer thus far has a 4.01 GAA and .867 save percentage after posting a 1.95 and .922 with the Avalanche last year. Part of that is on him and part of it is on defenders leaving him on an island way too often.

Do injuries have anything to do with this?

This is obviously gonna take longer than I expected.

Why didn't they give Driedger a shot against the Devils considering it was the secong game in as many nights?

The Pacific division is the weakest in the NHL. That being said, you have Vancouver, Vegas, and Edmonton that will probably be in those top 3 spots. Kraken can battle for that last playoff spot (#4 in the Pacific). It can happen, but let's be realistic - this is the 1st year. Stuff like what Vegas did a few years ago doesn't happen often.
