The boys have put together two really good games in a row and if they can win this one tonight we can start talking about how maybe these guys are actually pretty good. I know I was pretty chapped at the initial road trip but feel a lot better right now.
By the way, anyone else notice that other than Vegas' bullshit skate goal there hasn't been one fluky goal? They've all been skill goals. Weird to see only one fluky goal in eight games.

The Kraken outshot the Rangers 32-18 and still lost. 4 powerplays to 2 for NY. Grubby didn't get the job done.

I just looked it up. Apparently they were named after "Tex" Rickard, who was the President of Madison Square Garden operations 100 years ago. "Tex's Rangers".
Nice story, but they need to change the name, it's dumb.

Interesting... seems like some of those older franchises got their names that way, based on some quirky preference of the owner.
