Since it's the holidays and I like to be the bearer of happiness and good cheer, I'm dropping this beauty here since our beloved Sonics forum is gone.

Good to see the Blunder still setting records for futility - losing by an NBA record 73 points tonight. I might have to get my old OKCBlunder blog back up and running if anyone remembers that.

Here's a gem from the coach (whom I have never heard of)...
"Tonight is not necessarily who we are,'' Thunder coach Mark Daigneault said. "I think we've definitely shown that from a competitive standpoint. This isn't indicative of who our team is.''
This is the extent to which I follow the NBA - I only look for OKC's misery to continue. Bitter? Yup!

I just looked at the box score. Didn't recognize a single player from either team. No longer miss the NBA in the least and care not if it ever comes back to Seattle.

The Thunder also set the NBA record for largest margin of defeat at home earlier this year, losing by 57 to the Pacers on May 1. What a disgrace.

Same here. It's not just the players, the entire game has changed and it's boring.

OKC got gifted an up-and-coming franchise and it took 12 years for them to have a losing team on the court. Perfect example of the unfairness of sports for us. Hopefully their losing will continue into eternity.

Is it fair to say Stern wrecked the game by emphasizing the promotion of "stars" over team play?
