Driedger in goal and it's 1-0 Kraken midway through the second period. The team is looking even better than the score would indicate. Eventually we're going to get screwed on another kick-goal, but looking good so far.

Is Driedger not able to appear in more than one out of every ten games or is there some other reason he can't be the everyday goalie?

36 million reasons. Driedger played really well last night and made some huge saves.

Vegas after 36 games: 25-11
Kraken after 36 games: 10-26

The Kraken aren't even half as good as Vegas was. What's really irritating is fans on social media making excuses that this is an expansion team and Vegas was an outlier. Come to think of it, even Ron Francis has kind of said that. This lack of demand is why we can't have nice things. I would like to see every fan expect at least playoffs, and Francis should be saying it's a tall order but if we do everything right maybe we can do what Vegas did.

I just hope Mariner fans and the Mariner front office have much higher expectations and aspirations.

So are they still well under the salary cap. Just wondering if they are going cheap to try to recoup their massive investment. They better get better or they could see 1970s-80s Mariners attendance levels.
