Wait, what? Wyoming lawmakers push to ban all electric vehicles by 2035

Wyoming!
Re: Wyoming!
The article says this is all sort of tongue in cheek (and is in response to Canada's and California's banning by 2035 of gasoline-powered vehicles). But ... doesn't the electricity in Wyoming for EVs come largely from coal? (And isn't Wyoming #2 in coal production?) So ... whether it's EV or gas-powered, driving a vehicle in Wyoming will still contribute to the revenues of Wyoming's fossil fuel companies.

Can't blame California and Canada! They are following "settled Science!"

The further away you get from the large cities, the less bullshit you have to deal with. Red state or blue state, I don't think it much matters. Just get to a rural area, and see how many electric cars there are. I could be wrong, but I think even in Commiefornia, there's no way they're going to stop selling gasoline powered cars. They might tax the hell out of them, though. Same as smoking a pack of cigarettes. They still let you do it, but you have to pay 95% in taxes. I heard they want to outlaw gasoline cooktops and gasoline generators in Commiefornia also. Unbelievable. I still don't think it will ever happen, though.
It's messed up, because there's undeniable natural beauty in some of these liberal bastions. So, you gotta make your choice, do you want to live where the weather is great and the beaches are awesome. Or, do you want more freedom and less taxes even if it's going to mean less desirable geography. I'm currently in Texas, and I don't have plans to leave. If I do leave, I'm going to Mexico. I don't think you can get citizenship, but you can just rent some place cheap and I think if you fly back to the USA it will reset your tourist visa clock. I haven't looked into it too deep. But, especially if I'm retired I'm gonna think real hard about getting out of the USSA. This country is basically pure communism and they make us sing songs about how free we are before every sports game! What a scam. Land of the not free, home of the slaves.
