Bullshit man!!!DanielVogelbach wrote: ↑Wed Jul 30, 2025 8:16 pmIf you came of age during the Vietnam war, then you had it pretty easy compared to kids in America today. Life was more basic back then, and you could afford homes, cars, and vacations with a basic job.DavidGee24 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 30, 2025 7:59 pm
I'm just dumbfounded at the guy saying that men over 70 had it easy. A 75 year old man would have come of age during the Vietnam War, which doesn't strike me as being exactly the easiest time. I wonder when SoB came of age, probably sometime between the releases of Taylor Swift's first album and Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. ROUGH TIMES.![]()
I don't know about you, but my parents put food on the table and had a place for me to live. They didn't provide me with:
Video games
Cell phones
Internet sites
Cable TV
Car(s)
Expensive sports equipment like golf clubs
They certainly were not PC, and neither were the teachers. As a matter of fact, my parents gave the school district permission to spank me if needed. Now days a teacher CANNOT even touch a student.
To say that we had it easy.......I call BULLSHIT again.
Kids of today are SOFT!!! They expect to put forth minimal effort and get maximum gain.
They don't understand the difference between want and need.
Nor do they understand the difference between earn and get.
!!!!!PERIOD!!!!!
