I hear this CONSTANTLY from all my liberal friends and acquaintences, about how much they want to help poor people. My next logical question always is - Well, what have you DONE to help poor people. Have you ever actually worked in a homeless shelter, ever worked at a food bank, ever worked at building houses on missions trips, ever tithed money regularly, ever actually spent any time at all ACTUALLY helping poor people.

I'd say the ratio of conservatives to liberals that actually have DONE any of these things is like 100 to one. I challenge you to go to a homeless shelter, a food bank or any place that HELPS POOR PEOPLE and ask them their political views and/or religious beliefs. You'll be hard-pressed to find a single liberal/atheist person working at any of them. I'm not saying you won't find anyone on that side, but the numbers are staggering in their proportions.

I have done a lot of volunteering around LA - particularly during covid - with a org called Volunteer LA - which I think has since shuttered due to mismanagement and budget cuts - imagine that. We did a lot of food distribution activities down in the real 'hood, Compton and Watts, at the projects. It was cool and was one of those epiphany moments - at the height of the bogus "BLM" nonsense - nothing - they had zero presence in the 'hood - in the exact areas they presume to help - not one "BLM" billboard, poster, shirt, flag, banner - anywhere. They only had presence in the white neighborhoods - because they weren't about helping - they were about raising money. I realized how we are all being scammed. Truly an eye opening experience.

Then you start doing teh math - the organzed levels of grifting happening is really unimaginable. Then you do more math - the places with the highest taxes - have teh highest grift rates. Washingtonians are about to get the next taste when the Dems introduce your income tax. Here in Cal, the horror that is Newsome just introduced a bill to charge us a MILEAGE TAX - every mile we drive is going to be taxed. wrap your mind around that - because I am not joking. This grifting is so fucking out of control. The Minnesota grift is just the latest to be exposed - and the "Ice Riots" are being used as a distraction from that.
