Probably because they know their problems are either insignificant or made up... What are they gonna do? Go picket a high school volleyball game?

Walla Walla is a prime example... some 70 year old man who by all accounts has nothing better to do in retirement than suck at golf and watch Fox News... whose biggest problem is a 5'4 120lb HS trans girl who plays volleyball.

And clearly you weren't in Huntington during the Biden administration where the MAGA crowd was always out protesting about mask mandates and stay at home orders... when they were **checks notes** put forward by Trump in his first term.

Great... then go ahead and tell all the weirdos around you to stop crying and bitching about California. Idk if you've noticed, but it's a pretty common narrative among Conservative circles to pretend that California is the next coming of Communist China. I lived in Orange County for a decade... I loved it there. And last I checked... liberals aren't out there protesting the places they live... they're protesting the Orange retard who is now polling in the upper 20's. Glad the BBB is saving your clients a few dollars on their taxes though???
And there you go again, countering with what little you have to work with even though it's a molehill compared to the Liberal mountain of misery. UH UH UH WELL THAT ONE TIME IN HUNTINGTON BEACH SIX YEARS AGO UH UH UH

If this was a baseball argument about who was the greatest home-run hitter of all time, I'd be showing video of all of Barry Bonds' home runs and then you'd counter with video of all of Buddy Biancalana's home runs.

Yeah, the timeline literally has nothing to do with the argument. Trump was President 6 years ago... so please, shove the moving of the goal posts up your ass.

You're just a chud who can't look at Conservatives for what they are.

The majority spoiled boomers who have to make up grievances from a place of privilege and boredom like Obama's tan suit, the "War on Christmas," trans kids playing sports, etc... just to have something to bitch and moan about.

If Conservatives didn't have Olympic athletes, the Super Bowl Halftime show, Serena Williams and cotton, Blue Angels, (and many more topics) to bitch and cry over... what else would they have to make themselves victims?

Which is piddly, you're describing a miniscule percentage of conservatives which pales in comparison to what we've observed of the liberal community over the past several years. You only think otherwise because you've got TDS, mental issues and are a narcissist. Seriously, normal, well-adjusted people don't talk the way you do and you have no awareness of this because you're sitting there right now with Pop Goes The Weasel playing in your head.

Now if you'll excuse me, I need to head over to the King County Recorder's Office and file a Deed Of Trust on your ass because I own it.

Hey David, OT, sorry...It just occurred to me how we could go down to Rainier avenue, the little run down taverns used to be along there. I'm thinking like where the Safeway is now, Andover? You go with a bucket, they'd fill it and you'd take it home. I have this bucket and that memory just occurred to me. You remember that? Carrying a bucket of beer home. Man, I miss Rainier avenue. You ever miss that stuff?

I googled it, it was called, rushing the growler. Christ, I remember that. For me to have been drinking it would have had to have been 1970s. Does this make me old?
Historical Background ("Rushing the Growler")
The Vessel: Patrons, often children (known as "bucket boys" or "kesseljunges"), would take tin pails, pitchers, or buckets to a local pub to be filled with beer from the tap.

The Terminology: These pails were often called "growlers" because the beer, when sloshing around, created a "growling" noise as carbon dioxide escaped. Another theory is that the "growling" came from arguments between bartenders and customers regarding how much foam was in the bucket.

Daily Life: Children would often transport these buckets of beer from taverns to workers at lunchtime or to their parents at dinner time.

Prohibition & Decline: This trade was often targeted by the temperance movement leading up to Prohibition. By the 1950s, metal pails were phased out in favor of wax-coated cardboard containers, and eventually, the practice largely disappeared with the proliferation of bottles and cans

I grew up there. From the ages of 4-12 I lived in Rainier Valley (plus one year on Beacon Hill), went to grade school at Columbia and high school at Franklin. I remember the ghetto-ass taverns that were up a little north of Rainier Playfield and then there was Columbia City with boarded-up former businesses to the south of it. When I left in 1987 it was probably kind of like Detroit in that area.

About 10 or so years ago I drove through there, and all those taverns were gone. Safeway is still there. They gentrified the hell out of Columbia City putting up a bunch of condos, townhomes and trendy nightspots, like a whitey community bubble so to speak. I couldn't believe it was the same place. Rainier Vista (where I lived, yep we were poor) got torn down and they put up townhomes in their place. The only thing that makes it recognizable is all the over-100-year-old crappy houses that are still there.

And no, I definitely don't miss it. Okay, maybe a little. :D
