How about we keep slandering them, and we still don't need gay month...

Win-Win
I wonder how many people agree with you on this. I suspect a lot, unfortunately. And that means -- contrary to what a couple of people have said on this thread -- that being gay is no longer a non-issue. I would love to be wrong about this.
A lot agree, obviously.

All the lib cocksuckers and ladyboys can crawl back under the rocks they came out from. The world was better when they were in their closets.

Nobody cares they want to be gays. Go be gay. But when you want us to act like you deserve a month- or even a day- because of it?

Lol. Eat a dick (and don't enjoy this one...).

The age of coddling degenerates has passed. That's what got us where we are today.

Probably wouldn't need a Gay pride month if Republicans didn't keep slandering and attacking Gays... would you?
"Republicans" = one politician and one totally random podcaster.

Funny how you preach about not marginalizing people as you lump millions of people in with what those two people said.
I agree that we should not lump millions of people together with one asshole.

On the other hand, the politician here (Miller) is the chief policy advisor to the President of the United States. Pretty important guy, and I suspect he is not just one person who is alone in his beliefs. Rather, I suspect his views are representative of thousands, if not millions of others.
That sounds reasonable, and yes it's irresponsible for someone in that position to say that. Im surprised that a bigger deal wasn't made of it.

Agreed. Maybe we have become fatigued of being outraged by things like this from Miller. He is pretty "out there" and seems to speak his mind. (Or maybe he's just trolling.)

https://www.yahoo.com/sports/mlb/articl ... 58036.html So they force the players to wear Pride Hats whether they want to or not (and probably most if not all of them don't), but will fine you if you write a Bible verse on them. How retarded is that?

I wonder if MLB took the initiative to go after the players (and it is against the rules to write on your hat, even if it's "Hi Mom"), or if the LGBTQ complained and issued threats, which is how they probably got their way in the first place. Needless to say, there is backlash against MLB and there should be. They literally force the players to celebrate gayness on their uniforms and have zero tolerance for any sort of protest against it. Just let them play the damn game.

I think it's pretty silly, But it's basically marketing and branding. You (the powers that be) control uniforms and allow individual expression within proscribed limits (e.g., baseball players can wear pants down to their shoes or they can wear 3/4 pants with high socks; or NBA players can wear different sneakers).

Sounds about right. It's about selling gay merch to the 40 gay baseball fans while everybody else rolls their eyes.

While the gays are here we might as well call the baseball pants capris instead of 3/4 pants....

After players refuse to wear rainbow unis for a 'pride night' game - Minor league team cancels - and FORFEITS - the game.
Aren't the players the source of income for the team? By playing games, they sell tickets and concessions - literally the lifeblood of revenue to keep the team afloat and running. SO, they decide that celebrating "Pride Night" is more important than keeping the store open to customers? Huh? The lack of logic and business acumen is so hilarious. "If you don't conform to US, we will shut you down" is the basic philosophy here. No one cares if you're gay - no one - but baseball is a business and you are now negatively affecting income. Baseball/business comes before pride night and any other personal identifiers unrelated to the game. No one cares that you're gay - stop demanding constant affirmation on the coattails of others - NO ONE CARES. MOst of the dudes I work with are gay - it makes no difference.

https://www.instagram.com/p/DZvWxi5Fc6i/ And these are young men who are much easier to influence, dupe, and even push around than grown-up men so good for them. They don't need to be pawns in this shit and one should expect the same thing if they had MAGA Night.

The organization of course is trying to throw the players under the bus, which I guess they feel they have to do so that they don't "offend" anyone. The whole thing is just so dishonest.

It ain't about making money. It's about the agenda.

It's never been about the money. It's about the agenda. Obviously if it were about supply and demand, then we wouldn't see all the woke shit all through media, sports, Hollywood, etc. The whole go woke, go broke fails to understand that "they" aren't operating under free market economics. If "they" need money, they can just print some up, lol. It's an agenda. It's evil genius. The downstream followers participate based on the idea that's what they're supposed to do. And, once the ball is rolling, there's some truth to it... pushing back is risky, so everyone goes along with Pride month, because it's the safe choice.
