2020 CENSUS

Just got it in the mail.
I've NEVER been asked to participate..how about you..?
I just skimmed through it last night and it seems pretty invasive. It wants to know my identity and my phone number.
This comes on the heels of me being on a "Enemy Of The State" movie watching binge [This is the movie with Gene Hackman and Will Smith versus the NSA]. I can't get enough of that movie, it's so well written and clever.
This paranoid tin foil hat reaction of mine also comes on the heels of the Obama Admin using the NSA and other public assets to spy on citizens who had broken no laws. I'm all for a generalized "head count" so that they can determine population and the demographics..but nothing more than that.

Any thoughts..?

The census has always used our information. I don't think I need to run through all the elements that the census looks to improve each state and region by understanding fundamentally where people inhabit. Now, I don't work for the census, I can't speak with absolute knowledge to how our information is going to be used but again, everything that is asked is information that you already freely put on your social media accounts.
