I hadn't seen this story, but I don't get why you would shut off water and power. Just arrest them. Geez.
Arrest people for having a voluntary gathering in the privacy of the their own home. Wow. And you are a moderate????

"Contrary to what most people think, the Nazis were ardent socialists (hence the term “National socialism”). They believed in free health care and guaranteed jobs. They confiscated inherited wealth and spent vast sums on public education. They purged the church from public policy, promoted a new form of pagan spirituality, and inserted the authority of the state into every nook and cranny of daily life. The Nazis declared war on smoking, supported abortion, euthanasia, and gun control. They loathed the free market, provided generous pensions for the elderly, and maintained a strict racial quota system in their universities—where campus speech codes were all the rage. The Nazis led the world in organic farming and alternative medicine. Hitler was a strict vegetarian, and Himmler was an animal rights activist."

Apparently there are "large" parties being held in the city of Los Angeles. That means at least more than 20 participants. But now the true nature of the Marxist/Socialist/Communist/Globalists starts to come out. It seems Mayor Garcetti is threatening to cut off water and power to the homes of people who host these parties. Makes me wonder how anyone could vote for people who arbitrarily shut off water and power to anyone.

So if I'm sitting on the fence about this election, am I OK with this? Or do I see it as an infringement upon my rights? And that leads me to my next question. Will this become more common to get the masses to fall in line? First masks, then social distancing, then lockdowns, and now cutting off civic necessities. How much more will the population take? Or will most just roll over and look away?

Yeah this is a real thing down here - but I am not aware of any actual shutdowns in services. I think it is being put out into the ether as a deterrent. I was coming over Cold Water Canyon a couple nights ago and there was a huge party going on - you can tell because there are a shit ton of cars parked on the street - via valet's servicing area residences having events. It's a very posh section of LA - some of the most expensive homes. Highly doubt they're getting power turned off. On the upside, this could really fuck up Chargers fans gatherings. That's a joke - there's no such thing... :P

Yeah, they're idiots but you can't do those things because what they're doing isn't unlawful, just stupid.
But they are only risking their own health. If Lynda and I were the only two people in the country that were negative and all 330 million Americans were all positive we still would not get infected because we social distance and wear masks in public indoor spaces. So who cares if other people infect themselves. I have never understood that.

Do you two have masks to protect YOURSELVES? (i.e., like N95 masks) I thought the cloth face coverings were to prevent spreading to others, and were not particularly effective against being exposed.

I'm going to paying for this via my taxes for a long long time, and if people had just shut down, we could have been over it.

And yeah, I have a streak in me of favoring Old Testament justice.
