Who thinks they got-had Covid 19 and share space

I think everyone in the freakin NYC area has it.
We are ALL carriers.
We wear a mask and gloves when we go outside for a walk but always come home like something is attacking our immune system.
Get a little hot around the neck and head, throat gets scratchy, but never really develops into something.
We are so pumped full of antivirals my wife and I...garlic, colloidal silver, zinc, vitamins d and c...a bunch of other crap I forget.
The bug cannot breach the walls of our cells.
I work for a bank doing closings and we are considered "essential workers".
They send me out for only 3, maybe 4 closings a week usually in Westchester / some parts of the Bronx.
I refuse to go to Manhattan. That's a virtual petri dish of viruses/ humans included.
But it amazes me how ignorant folks are....running around the park no mask, sweating and breathing.
Did a closing this week and halfway thru (taking all the precautions) we are all wearing masks and gloves, sitting 6 feet from each other.
The husband says "oh by the way I guess I should tell you I think we had the virus". Then tells me all of the symptoms he experienced that I never want to have. I wanted to reach across the table and kill him with my plastic gloves on.
THEY told us for weeks...don't have to wear a mask...just wash your hands.
Then everyone got sick just being outside with the other 10 million NewYorkers.
NOW they say put a bandanna around your face if you don't have a mask.
What THE hell is going on?
I swear these batsh*t liberals did this to make it worse for the rest of us.
I hope they burn in eternal hell for it.
Takes us 3-4 hours to get groceries....and forget about going to the pharmacy.
Stand in line for an hour, an hour inside, and another hour to check out.
Then you got to wipe down all of your sh*t with alcohol.
They just shut down schools here for the rest of the year.
I love my wife and kid, but don't want to be around them 24/7 God Damn it.
Time to head for the hills, this place sucks a$$.
Here's to hoping they send everyone back to work at least by June.
Only good thing is the roads are pretty traffic free right now.
Maybe this will scare some of the new immigrants for coming to the big city huh?!?!?!

I feel for you, Hopefully you can find a way to escape New York, Big cities have become infested with everything wrong with humanity. It’s never been a more important time to live in the heartland and get out of the cities.

Those were great movies...escape from NY / escape from LA.
If I remember correctly they infected him with a virus too.
One thing about being home....I've started watching old movies again.
Sunday they had a run of Hitchcock movies...got in "The birds" and "Psycho".
It was nice to hear dialog with complete sentences again.

Obviously, one study in one area, more testing is needed for more reliable data.

There are several takeaways from this.
- The obvious...more people have had the virus than the official counts.
- That means we have not been testing enough to have a true picture of the virus spread.

Good news:
- We are a bit closer to "herd immunity" than we thought, but there are still 95% of the populace that have not been exposed.
- The mortality rate is probably lower than our current numbers indicate.

Bad news:
- There are people out and about that have the virus and could infect you. This implies that, for now, crowds are a bad idea, social distancing is a good idea, masks are a good idea and washing your hands a lot is a good idea.
- This also means that the virus is spreading in a stealthy manner. Only serious cases are getting noticed, and containing the spread will not be easy.

Conclusion: As has been stated before, more testing is needed. Both for the virus and for the antibodies.

Felt like I had a low-grade bug for about a month or more beginning in late Feb. But I get a pass on this one because I've pretty much felt like poo since last August.
