Sure, then you wouldn't have needed to have bothered with the wall in the first place. I didn't actually take Trump seriously when he campaigned about it, but then he actually went about doing it. They didn't get the wall even built before Biden rendered it useless.

Once it was built they could identify problem areas and rectify them, and actually work on policing the wall. There aren't many walls that work when you don't finish them.

Biden's dumbass stopping in the middle of building was the problem. Well, that and giving illegals an engraved invitation so they knew they could walk around the fence anyways.

It doesn't need to be continuous. Geography will take care of much of the problem.

The point is to slow illegal immigration and drug smugglers enough that it's manageable. Nothing's perfect, but them claiming they didn't have the money for the wall just to turn around and funnel hundreds of millions to Ukraine a few years later proved what clowns the libs are.
