People make excuses for everything. Laziness is definitely hereditary. People don't do research. Even with the clean oils you still have to do your research. Sugar is an addiction that's for sure. It's a process I know that. I swear sometimes I think quitting smoking is easier then cutting sugar.
Laziness is heredity? what? It may be a learned behavior but it is in NO WAY hereditary. Where do you get this from? There is a big big difference between 'sugar addiction' and the consumption of high fructose corn syrups and processed sugars vs the naturally occurring sugars in fruit. BIG difference. No one is getting addicted to peaches and oranges = but the processed shit is DESIGNED to be addictive - remember - it's "RJ Nabisco" - the RJ is RJR tobacco - (one of) the cigarette companies who turbo charged nicotine addiction with added chemicals and processes - they are doing the same thing to the food supply now. For those that aren't understanding the bigger picture of this above and beyond the addiction - seed oils and these processed sugars put your body into a state of inflammation - that literally kills you slowly and is the backbone of all your ailments.

I assumed this was all common knowledge - is there anyone on here that doesn't already know this? 99% of what ails you is your diet.

^^^^^ Kennedy knows all of this -this is why he is on a mission to clean up the food supply. A bag of Lays potato chips sold in the US is banned in europe - because of the oils and chemicals - they get a different, safer version. They are literally different products. Think about that - and then ask how politicians could possibly allow this to go on here. It's called grifting and big pharma says thank you very much.

Interesting post, auroraave, thank you. Actually, I do not think the food/inflammation connection is common knowledge. My MD checks for markers of inflammation to see if I have a disease. (That is, the inflammation is a symptom.) My naturopath checks for markers of inflammation with the goal of reducing the inflammation per se -- that is, to prevent disease. What you are saying is more like my naturopath compared to my MD. But it seems that most of my friends roll their eyes when I talk about this.

Incredibly interesting about Lay's potato chips. I assume there are many other examples. Maybe I should import my food from Europe! :)

Seemingly this could all be done through the free market. If nobody buys the products with seed oils, then they would go away.

What people need is the information. Unfortunately when it comes to good health, there's a lot of conflicting information.

Nobody though, is saying to consume as much Canola oil as possible. Animal Fats are probably the best, but nobody really knows for sure. We just know that a lot of people get sick, cancer, etc.
