What are they going to "get done"??? Government sucks. The only thing they get done is robbing wealth and freedom from the citizens. We don't need them to get anything done. We need them to get out of the way of the free market.Donn Beach wrote: ↑Fri Jan 13, 2023 6:56 am
It's not a question of remembering, it's if it foretells the difficulty of getting things done in the house of representatives. In that sense it could be remembered, reflected on

The problem is not the leaders. The problem is the order followers. You'll never get change through the few that rule over the many. You can't vote your way out of tyranny. The only way you get change is through disobedience. I'm not a huge fan of that word, because disobedience has a negative connotation, but you know what I mean.Donn Beach wrote: ↑Sat Jan 14, 2023 9:06 amWell there is the question of defaulting on the debt which is coming due, be nice if they got something done about that
There is no power without order followers. 600 people can't rule over 300 million people without everyone falling in line. People like to blame the leaders, because it's convenient, but the true blame of problems caused by government fall on the order followers. If nobody signs up work for the government, then it loses all power, and we are free.
If everyone stopped paying their taxes, then we would suddenly be free and no longer have to worry about who the speaker of the house is. If everyone stopped using US Dollars and started using gold, silver, and barter, then what does the national debt even mean? Of course, they have it all figured out. They inflate away the value of the dollar, but they do it slow, and they make sure that some people get a nice home and a nice car, so they won't want to rebel. They tax us at every turn, but spread it around between sales tax, property tax, income tax, gasoline tax, etc. So, we don't actually realize just how hard they're extorting us. They give us our sports and entertainment to pacify us. They send us to 12 years of government indoctrination camps so we end up worshipping the flag and rooting for USA in the Olympics.
There is no reason to fret over who the speaker of the house is. That's exactly what they want. They don't want you thinking outside the box and recognizing the whole system as an illegitimate extortion racket. They want you to believe that their authority is legitimate, that democracy is wonderful, and we can solve all of the problems created by government if we just put the right people into office - what a scam!

Basically, with McCarthy, nothing will change. The left will still be able to push their agenda. The right will moan and groan. Still, we'll move ahead with the "progressive" agenda. The only difference between Republicans and Democrats is that it takes Republicans two weeks longer to screw us over.

Government always gets bigger and more intrusive. In reality, we were much more free under colonial rule. Far less taxes and regulations when we were under the crown. There was no income tax or Federal Reserve during colonial times. I'm no history buff (his story), but I think they tried to tax some tea or something, and it spawned a rebellion. Now, they tax EVERYTHING including property and income. Now you can't even cut hair without a license.ddraig wrote: ↑Sun Jan 15, 2023 2:27 amBasically, with McCarthy, nothing will change. People celebrate democracy like it's the greatest thing, but really freedom is the greatest thing. Forcing you to vote for your rulers is not really that great at all. Why can't we just form voluntary contracts without being forced without our consent? Furthermore, our so-called democracy is all bought and paid for and a completely fake presentation - basically pro wrestling.
Government is nothing more than a scam to rob and control society.
1. Nobody signed any social contract. It's entirely put into place via force and threat of violence.
2. It's impossible to delegate rights you don't have. If you can't tax your neighbor yourself, then you can't have a "representative" or "government" do it on your behalf. (all taxation is immoral and theft)
3. Did 3-4 dozen slave owning lawyers and politicians on a continent of 3 million people get together and proclaim they run everything, can tax everybody, make up rules for everyone, and then have their media (newspapers) proclaim if valid? Is the media being used to control perception on a wide scale?
4. "Government" is robbing the population of half their income in overt taxes, covert taxes, property taxes, and inflation.
5. "Government" is using hidden curriculum to indoctrinate the psuedo-religion of statism and obedience in its mandatory government schools
6. "Government" is using unethically manipulative cult-indoctrination techniques on cub scouts, boy scouts, police/military recruits to indoctrinate them into a psuedo-relgion: statism
7. "Government" is working with Hollywood to have statism, nationalism, and other propaganda and control techniques woven into movies and tell-lie vision shows to make the immoral, crooked system appear legitimate
DoD and Intelligence Agencies responsible for 800+ movies and 1,000+ television shows where they are providing resources and frequently have script control e.g. they'll let you shoot scenes on the aircraft carrier for free provided they approve of your script.
DoD and intelligence agency sponsored movies and tell-lie vision shows are product placing the American Flag during moments of high positive emotion to anchor the flat go those emotions
Media and the "Government" frequently anchor the flag to moments of high positive emotion using fly-overs, flag-worship ceremonies, and psuedo-religious expressions
National sing-along before every major sporting event

Government is organized crime. Government is the group of armed thugs people are concerned will take over in the absence of government.

You won't get it with McCarthy.
