Anyone that trusts AI in any aspect of their life is an idiot and if there are enough idiots among us to allow it then humanity is doomed.

Isn't AI used in most (all?) online searching? (i.e., on X, Facebook, X, etc.) As I understand it, AI provides search results that "fit" with what I've already viewed. So if I have a habit of searching for and viewing cute puppies, I'll get more results with cute puppies. If I search for and view left wing crap, I'll get more left wing crap.

Plus, AI gives us results to get really, really pissed at the other side.

Depends on how you define AI. Search engines use various types of machine learning, but it's not what's being referred to today as AI. It's being integrated into search and designated as such, like Bing AI and Google AI. Not that I understand any of this
