Grading the First 100 Days

Three months and change into the new administration and my initial reaction so far is a C grade.
Upsides:
Border security, deportations - huge A in this area. There is NO justifying illegals in the country - none. Get them out.
Doge. Cleaning up the books, exposing the staggering grifting-at-taxpayer-expense that has been going on for decades now. Another huge A, not just because of the billions recovered, but the exposure of what is really going on - these revelatory moments we need to digest and remember.
No new wars. A+. Some folks desperately trying to push us there - but we seem to be staying out of manufactured conflict - I hope this sticks for 4 years. STAY. THE. FUCK. OUT. OF. IRAN.
Downsides: What happened to the Epstein files? Was that all bluster for show? Not all that relevant, but it's getting D because at least some shit was released for JFK etal. Still feels very underwhelming. D.
Economy. Not really sparking yet. Not getting worse, and it's only been 100 days, but I was expecting gas prices to at least dip - that has not happened at all. It may just take more time - and that's fair. We all want lower prices now but that's not necessarily realistic. C-/D+
Mixed: Tariffs. They make lots of inflammatory headlines both ways - but what are we truly gaining/losing from this? Hard to know for sure, but ultimately I have no problem with doing to others what is being done to us - not sure how that isn't fair. C.
Ukraine. Not seeing any movement in ending this. At least we are not sending troops or $$$. I'd like to see an end to this - The Donald said he'd do it. This gets a C+ mostly because we are staying out of it fiscally and militarily.
That's off the top of my head. The border safety and DOGE aspects are huge upgrades, IMO. Hugely necessary. Need to see the economy growing and gas prices coming down and, as long as we stay OUT of war, I'll consider this a win overall.

Regarding gas prices... it seems like every time the cost of a barrel goes down a new gas tax is introduces (at least in WA, OR & CA). It also takes time to refine the oil to make gas, so I understand the lag.
DOGE, I hope they have only gotten started.
Tariffs, need time to talk to all the other 70+ countries that are wanting to talk. I've also read stories that China is ready to buckle.

Agreed with all. Seems like Trump has been pretty quiet these days - the only noise is the ridiculous manufactured "outrage" by the dems and the CNN's of the world. They just cannot stop embarrassing themselves by constantly showing how staggeringly out of touch with reality they are. They've hit the iceberg - refuse to acknowledge they are sinking. It is truly remarkable to watch the insanity. I keep expecting them at some point to return to reality yet they keep doubling down on their utterly insane takes and defiance of the border security and the fiscal malfeasance DOGE has uncovered - yet they continue to act like those massive wins are somehow BAD. Honest to God - who the FUCK is still listening to these people? It has gone beyond any kind of rational or logical thinking - it's blatant insanity at this point. Booting illegal immigrant criminals out of the country and saving the US taxpayers billions - is somehow - according to them - BAD? On what fucking planet?
Trump gets a C but the Dems get an F minus - beyond tone deaf, beyond anything remotely rational, this is like a nightmare episode of The Office. They have a chance to rebrand their dumpsterfire image - and they just circle the drain harder. Bizarre. Sucks for the sane Dems and Libs to be so misrepresented this way.

Yep, Ferguson loves him some taxes....WA is ridiculous.
And the fake outrage....too funny not to share. In Wenatchee there was a story released recently about 20 people protesting in front of a local ICE office. I didn't even know we had an ICE office!
But I thought twenty was hilarious, but the interview was even more so. This woman says "if we don't stop this unnecessary deportation it will be the queers next". So, this woman, in her infinite wisdom, believes people will start getting deported due to sexual orientation. They don't even know what the fuck they are upset about.
I compare it to the NFL protests during the Anthem a few years ago. No one talked about what they were protesting, only the fact that they were. Kind of seemed to miss the target.

It's called "recreational outrage" and you'll notice it's never the sane, rational, educated people, people with common sense, people who can support their position. No, it's yelling, screaming, throwing a temper tantrum - and even worse when they are proven wrong. The best is when they "don't have to prove their point" because they are just right. Then they have to resort to the timeless insane lefty response of "you're racist"

OMG, so accurate! Racist, or sexist or a homophobe.

Our state is horrible.
I just found out that they passed a law for reparations for "black" people..... doesn't matter if you have slave blood or not, just the right color of skin.
Basically, it's money to purchase a house (around 120k). Then if you make your payments for a certain amount of time, the state pays off the rest of your loan.
If this isn't blatant racism, I don't know what is.... Just the idea of having a law that is benefiting anyone based on the color of their skin..... fucking absurd.

According to people like the decision makers in our State? It's not racism unless it is a white person doing to "hating". Again, if you are a white male? You are automatically considered a racist and a sexist. If you are straight you are a homophobe. I have friends of different race, I have great relationships with woman and I have friends who are gay. Doesn't matter, I am all three of those things. I was born into it it seems. Which? Still makes it my fault. Something about my masculinity being toxic and my skin being white has made me inherently this way, and the sooner I just accept it the better the world will be.

Securing the southern border: A+
Removing people here illegally: Incomplete
Attempts to remove legal residents because of support for Palestinians: F
DOGE: Incomplete on results, D for communications, transparency, and accuracy
Tariffs: F
- I'm all in favor of getting American manufacturing jobs back. I just don't think tariffs is the way to do it. Also, the on again, off again tariff policy is counterproductive and gives the appearance of not having a plan

The U.S. government has the authority to revoke green cards and deport individuals, including legal residents, based on various factors, including those related to national security or foreign policy interests. This power can be invoked if an individual is deemed to be a threat to national security or if their presence in the U.S. is believed to have potentially serious adverse foreign policy consequences.
Legal Grounds for Deportation:
National Security Concerns:
.
The government can deport non-citizens if it believes they pose a threat to national security, such as supporting terrorism or engaging in activities that could harm the U.S.
Foreign Policy Concerns:
.
The secretary of state can expel non-citizens if their presence in the U.S. is deemed to have potentially serious adverse foreign policy consequences.
Criminal Convictions:
.
Green card holders can be deported for serious criminal convictions, such as rape, murder, or drug trafficking.
Immigration Fraud:
.
Deportation is also possible if a green card holder commits immigration fraud.
Specific Examples:
Mahmoud Khalil:
.
A Green card holder who was arrested by ICE and faces deportation, reportedly for his pro-Palestinian activism.
Trump Administration's Actions:
.
The Trump administration has used its immigration enforcement powers to crack down on international students and scholars who participated in pro-Palestinian protests or criticized Israel.
Now, PLEASE, tell me the name of the LEGAL resident that has been removed.
