Interesting what the MAGA Seattle Times Politics Board thinks about this one.

Paxton record:

- Indicted on felony security fraud charges in 2014, had to serve community service and paid $300,000 to victims of the fraud in 2024.

- Impeached by the GOP-led house in 2023 and then acquitted by the state Senate.

- Aides reported him for fraud in 2020. No case was brought. Then aides were paid out $6.6M for improper firing.

- Has falsified loan documents pertaining to houses he's owned multiple times over.

- Wife filed for divorce last year, citing infidelity on Paxton's behalf.

- Recently released a proven pedophile who repeatedly raped a little boy from prison for “good behavior” as a favor for a rich lawyer friend.

That he's transgender and has different dietary habits...

And I'm supposed to vote GOP to weed out corruption?

Personally, I'd just never vote for a woman.

Especially one unstable enough to realize she's a woman.

I have a hard believing that there's anything less "manly" that defrauding others, cheating on your wife, and siding with pedophiles.

What's funny is the Republican Party now is faced with having to sink maybe $250 MIL into defending what should have been a safe seat. Money they could have used trying to flip competitive seats in other states. All because the president wouldn't keep his mouth shut. lol

Texas hasn't elected a democrat to the U.S. Senate in almost 40 years. If Republicans end up investing a small fortune to help Paxton defeat Democrat James Talarico and still come up short, it would be a stunning end to the longest Democratic dry spell in the nation.
