Yang is out. Bloomberg is in. Sonofabitch. I will probably watch anyway. I'm a bit of a sucker for presidential debates.

Spotlight is on Biden I think. He thinks he's going to clean up on minority voters in Nevada and South Carolina. If Biden does well, then I think it increases the chance of no candidate securing the 1,990 delegates before the convention. If Biden falters, then maybe he drops out and the others get a better chance to obtain more delegates.

I agree with BPJ that Warren is hurting Sanders chances to grab the 1,990. I'm not sure just yet if Warren is truly a DNC operative designed to slide Hillary Clinton into the nomination, though. But, we'll see.

chatting with my brother in Texas, he thinks the demos will probably sell out to Bloomberg to find a moderate candiate...It occurred to me, you could have like the 2016 election in reverse, Bernie hijacking it like the Donald did with the republicans...so in a Bernie-Donald election, you could have like a complete flip of the scenario of the previous one. In that one you had the underdog Donald as the wacky Republican the demos were happy to run against. But to some degree because of the polarization of Hillary he manages an upset. So now we have crazy Bernie grabbing the nomination from the mainstream demos, and who is supposedly viewed by republican strategists as the easiest candidate to defeat going up against a polarizing Donald, could Bernie achieve the same sort of upset. Just kind of intriguing to me, the conventional wisdom before had been to run Bush against Hillary, the conventional wisdom today is probably to run Biden against Trump. To go from Obama, to Trump, to Saunders would be pretty wild

Bloomberg has been giving Trump a lot of free negative ads lately. This one takes the cake. I have relatives that are farmers that are some of the smartest people that I know. What an out of touch condescending pompous POS.

Ever since the first Bush won, there has been both two term presidents and an alternating between Dem and Repub for the past 30 years. Pretty amazing phenomenon.

feeling myself getting sucked in to actually following this crap again, i do love me some politics...So Bloomberg is out to buy the nomination. I mean i hadn't really taken it seriously, but if someone is worth $64 bil, you probably should take them seriously. The entire cost of the 2016 election was $2.4 bil or something like that. So buying the entire thing is not really that big a deal to him, he is 78 years old and he can't take it with him. Even Trump didn't use his own money, Bloomberg is not taking any donations. Within 10 minutes on Thursday morning, Trump had sent out two tweets attacking Bloomberg for, among other things, his short stature and being a "mass of dead energy." Two days earlier, Trump had tweeted this about Bloomberg: "Mini Mike is a short ball (very) hitter. Tiny club head speed."

In the 13 days of February to date, Trump has sent at least eight tweets attacking Bloomberg, according to the invaluable Trump Twitter Archive. That represents a significant ramping-up of Bloomberg-dedicated tweets from Trump and far more than Trump has targeted anyone else in the Democratic field over that period of time.
Which is important! Because anyone who has followed Trump's campaign and presidency understands that his Twitter feed is the best window into what the President is thinking at any given moment. It's like being able to look into his mind and emotions -- constantly. So when Trump fixates on something or, in this case, someone, you know it's meaningful.

Imagine being 78 with 64 B in net worth and you decide you best use of time and money is running for Potus. Maybe I am creative and more of a perv but I can think of a lot better more fun ideas.
