Don't you think churches should be
open at a time like this?
This is so wrong to close them!

The drive-thru at Church's Chicken is open, have you tried there?

No.

Speaking as a cross-cultural missionary (non-denominational, serving in Mexico), I think the church needs to see this as not targeted at the church. Love of our neighbors means we should be leading the way here - physical social distancing, going the extra mile to reach out electronically.

Got old people in your church who can't do the internet thing? Find medically-approved methods to get them iPads and internet connections that make it as easy as possible. Have techs who will go window to window to troubleshoot by phone on-site visually. Use church funds to get them connected and make the problem not a problem.

We can do community digitally when needed, and make sure no one is left behind. Let's do it, and not accept excuses.

We are staying at a beach house a few miles from Plymouth Rock. Just before we got here we drove by a Church surrounded by a graveyard. Now that is old school. Love it here.
