Last summer it was expected that Durham was near the end of his investigation. He was expected to release a report on the Russia probe BEFORE the election.
That didn't happen.
That report should include Biden as a subject of the investigation since he was involved in the Logan Act take down of Flynn. What started out as a probe turned into a criminal investigation and now a special counsel.
The views on whether this news is good or bad for Trump or Biden is a mixture. Some see the walls of justice closing in on Biden. They reason that there wouldn't be a special counsel unless high crimes were committed by people in high office. The other side sees Trump in the Berlin bunker, even his own Justice Department is against him. The special counsel prevents Trump from releasing classified information on the Russian disinformation coup attempt.
Christopher Wray and the FBI are completely untrustworthy. They rush to investigate MAGA trucks following Kamala's bus on the campaign trail and yet they ignore an avalanche of election fraud evidence that's come out.
Gina Haspil and the CIA can't be trusted. The server seized in Germany that was manipulating votes was reportedly run by the CIA.
That takes us to one of Trump's last lines of defense, the DOJ and AG Barr. This guy is difficult to figure out. What is your take? We don't know what he's doing behind the scenes. His actions, statements in public are what's concerning. Saying there's no evidence of fraud while not even looking. Claiming the DOJ should not resolve political disputes by intervening in the election. Are we to believe that? It's like a football referee who sees a clear foul on a play but doesn't want to throw a flag because he might influence the outcome of the game. That's your job, Barr! Do your job!

Bill Barr is deep state.
He had no problem giving speeches about how our freedoms are being eroded and coming onto Mark Levin's show for an hour talking about the Russian hoax and constant attacks by the left but then does NOTHING about it.
Takes calls and evidence of widespread election fraud and does NOTHING about it.
Imho he is yesterday's news and will go down in history as another traitorous putz.
He has ties to Epstein also and rode the lolita express by the way.

My perspective is that AG Barr is first a devout Christian, second a patriot, and third a Trump supporter. In that order.
However, given how Barr released the Mueller report, making sure his spin was the dominant narrative (versus what the report actually said), does make me wonder about whether his patriotism should be ranked ahead of his support of Trump.
Investigations into election fraud and irregularities are continuing in the Dept of Justice, and they should be. But as we know, Barr said he hasn't seen anything yet that would change the outcome, right? It doesn't mean that his eyes are closed or that he is ignoring anything.
Maybe, just maybe, Barr's support for Trump is not unlimited. Maybe his patriotism is showing through. Maybe he believes that the will of the American people (even if there were imperfections in the election process that would not decide the election outcome) should be respected -- despite his personal preferences. That seems to be what the Governors of Georgia And Arizona have expressed about the results in their states.
From my perspective, Bill Barr is a right wing extremist who should not be the Attorney General. I think my liberal friends are getting a good laugh thinking that people wonder if he might be part of an anti-Trump Deep State.

I'm pretty sure Barr is not a right-wing extremist, gil. It's hard to believe that he's even moderate at this point. We saw what the other side did when they were in charge of the DOJ, Rosenstein and such. They went after people for lying to investigators and Congress: Roger Stone, Michael Flynn, Papadopoulos and yet proven liars, to both Congress as well as internal investigators, guys like James Comey, Jim Clapper and John Brennan walk free. Are we to believe that you really don't see the disparate treatment depending on political affiliation?
