What a disgrace that the death of George Floyd, an addict, violent felon and career criminal who met his end all drugged-up, resisting arrest and committing yet another felony touched off another national shitstorm of misguided protest and destruction.
The guy was a complete piece of shit, and low-life idiots and ivory-tower libs turned him into a martyr. And then ushered in the grifters of BLM.
This country is so messed up I don't even recognize it.

The old adage "One Tree can make 1000 matches, but one match can burn 1000 trees." rings true for Minneapolis. They just spent 500 K on an ad campaign to 'change the image' from post floyd ghost town to a whatever destination.
Reminds me of the sacred monkeys of India. At night they go to their protected forest. At dawn they swarm the Buddhist temple, crap all over, and are considered gods.

The police chief and head of officer training lied about the technique used by Chauvin saying they didn't teach it when they did and it's even in their training manual. Chauvin's counsel failed to bring this up in his defense. The whole trial was a sham. The initial autopsy indicated a drug overdose.

Before the GF riot and after his death the local media played a major role in ginning up the story. Once the alternative-to-the-truth narrative was established they ran with it on a nightly basis. They put the protest on an escalator. The psychology is basic to unregenerate human nature and the marxist world view.
First "a great injustice has been committed". Second " the racial component confirms systemic racism" (shame toward law abiding citizens). Third, any public reaction is justifiable. (go for it vandals)
Of the Three major authorities that stood between the rioters and 100 million $ in property destruction not to mention a siege on a police station was the governor, the mayor and the city council/ police chief. All stated were sympathetic to the mob and echoed such even a flames engulfed the city.
And despite great hardship, damage , arrests , and a trail of crime since June 2020....all the same authority was re-elected. The police chief slipped out the back door into retirement and the current police chief is trying to protect the city at its most unruly profile in history with 33% fewer officers than were on duty in 2020.
Liberalism on parade to this day with no indication it will stop.

The guy who stabbed Chauvin was an FBI informant late 90's. A Croat who apparently turned on Mex Cartel members. Yeah right.
The timing of the attack is suspect as exculpatory evidence is now in plain sight.

I just watched most of that video and came here to post the link only to to find someone else already had. I guess it's encouraging that there are [black] people on the left that have the intellectual capacity and honesty to discern and accept the truth about what happened that day and in the days that followed. The people that were involved in perpetrating the lie and disseminating it to the masses, along with those who used it as an excuse for violence and destruction as well as to weaken the edifices of our civilization have suffered no consequences for their evil and that needs to change. As the professor at Columbia stated, nothing will change the minds of the majority of those who accepted the racist cop narrative from the beginning. At least there are some, though, like these two who will document and inspire others to write about these events so that future generations will know the truth. Unfortunately, a large percentage of younger people in this country were raised under a shroud of leftist ideology and inculcated in lies. Sadly these people are largely beyond hope or redemption
