Here’s what I don’t understand. Do the Dems actually want us to go to War with Russia and China? Because if we blindly bow down to Ukraine, yet again, isn’t that what the end result would be?
I don’t like the lack of diplomacy in how they treated Zelenskyy, but a big part of why I support Trump is because he’s not a politician. Kind of hypocritical if I expected him to act like one now.
Dems would support EVERYTHING that is going in, had Harris won. It really is pathetic.

I don't think it's an either/or situation (i.e., war with Russia versus pulling our support from Ukraine).
Historically, it seems that leaders intent on territorial expansion don't just take something and then stop. They might claim they are stopping after achieving an intermediate goal (e.g., Hitler capturing Czechoslovakia and then agreeing to peace), but then comes the next act (e.g., Hitler invading Poland to start WWII). I think a Putin friendly-end to the war in Ukraine is not in any one's interest except Putin's.
That said, we (the US) has made some mistakes. Obama should have never been so hands off when Putin annexed Crimea and invaded eastern Ukraine. We should have been much more forceful and effective in making European allies drastically increase their defense budgets. (Trump was definitely right about this, IMO.) And there is a case to be made that we made a strategic mistake in pushing NATO boundaries so far to the east.
But one has to play the hand you are dealt, right? Ukraine, with a huge amount of help from the US and from European allies, fought off Russia taking over. It's obviously come at a huge cost in the blood of Ukrainians, but it seems that Russia's military capabilities have suffered. I don't think it's the time to make Russia happy and throw Ukraine under the bus. I think we should be increasing various forms of pressure on Russia, and making sure there is increasing European support for Ukraine.

What do Dems have to do with what happened in the Oval Office?

This has always been about NATO. If Putin wanted to annex or destroy Ukraine he could have done it in a week.
Zelensky comes to The White House, did he leave with a peace deal ?? No, because he doesn't want one. He wants the US to fund and backstop this stupid proxy war, openly condemn Putin and play along with the EU in their fantasy....(yeah, real smart) well, fine go back to Brussels see how much security you can buy. Good luck because Ursula and the girly men of the EU have nothing. And if they had anything it would already be yours. Its a fools errand that points to ww3.
Trump will remain neutral and let the dust settle on this one. The terms of peace are not rocket science.
