What is really scary is that Raleigh is still learning!
Yeah it is! A platoon of Raleigh and Torrens would look real nice for years to come until Ford is ready in 2025/2026.

I would. I'd rather a LH starter who can work consistently with control and a fastball that tops at 90, in my rotation. It contrasts well in the rotation against other pitching profiles. I can always find a LHP that throws 95+ and is inconsistent.
I guess I'm in the minority. I would take KK over Marco. Pitchers like Marco, if they don't have their pinpoint control, they're in real trouble. Guys like KK, even if they're not locating properly, they can still get guys out consistently because of their stuff.
I was listening to the angels announcers working KK's last outing. One of them said the difference in KK this year is he went to some local company and they analized the spin on his ball using different weighted balls? Somehow they helped him add 3-4mph more to his fastball. Anyhow I like the new KK.
How come our announcers can't come up with shit like that?!

Raleigh did not see a strike nor a fast ball on that AB. But he couldn't lay off.... Torrens can..
Cal is still young. Give him time. Give him time. He looks hands down and away better than Kelenic or Trammell right now.

No way we can trade Graveman.
Imagine anyone else in this situation for us!
If he got us Whit Merrifield I would trade him.

The Royals would never do it. They're at a different spot of their building process. But rumor has Merrifield is on the trading block as well.

Looking at the lineup today it looked a bit longer than usual. Torrins has been smoking since his return from T-town. Cal has been swinging a hot bat since the O-for start. I really wish we could have got Nellie. I wanted him in the offseason and would have like if we could have snagged him at the deadline.

I read on mlbtr we are linked to the Pirates 2nd B Frazier.

Is anyone thrilled about that?
I really wanted Nellie also, but the Rays overpaid for him in my opinion. Would not have been pleased if the M's had matched that offer.

Have read that about Frazier as well. Would definitely be a huge upgrade at 2nd and a nice table setter, but personally I see him as more of a complimentary piece, so I wouldn't say "thrilled", but certainly a nice addition and a nice upgrade. Just my 2 cents and others may have a different opinion.
He has higher WAR than any player on our team.

HA! We are so focused on being offensively deficient that we forgot all about the starter who kept us in the game! Funny but sad.

Not a bad outing but I would have preferred 10Ks and 2 less HRs. He has given up a lot of them this year for some reason.
