The only way that would be the case is if they all gathered in a group circle with Graveman and the group and Graveman agreed that he would sabotage the Astros from the inside, thereby enabling the Mariners to win the division and he would return to the team in the offseason ready to repeat in 2022. Yeah another AAAA player. Already 24 with parts of three seasons in the show and a .193 career average. This is terrible. I'd rather take a shot at actually making the playoffs and lose graveman for nothing at the end of the year. Instead we bail on the season and pick up another "prospect" who has been a disappointment to this point. Now we get to watch this guy try to figure it out for the next four years while Dipoto touts his potential as the reason he doesnt need to add any quality free agents.

I'd rather win the Division next year and future years.

Abraham Toro is not going to be the deciding factor on weather they win the division next year.
