Remember the good old days when we didn't need another LF/DH type or a starting pitcher because we needed the roster spots and innings to see what the kids had?

Then, a bunch of bums cycle through LF, DH and SP while the owners laugh at us while swimming in their cash.

I would swap Toro and France. Toro could pass France on a double if he was at first and France was at second.

Yep, you were right on with Brantley, he would have been perfect this year and looking forward to 2022.

What bothers me is the last couple offseasons some of us have been begging them to add even one good player per year, so that when the team is ready to contend, they can blossom with some stable pieces around them.

People LOL'd at us here. And where would we be now if they had done it dtrain? Just sign that ace because he's available. Sign that star bat, because he's available.

Oh, it was a year early, they would have played too well and cost us a better draft pick? Effin losers.

Oh, we wouldn't have been able to see Dylan Moore and Shed Long in LF as much? What a travesty.. Sheffield and Dunn would have had to fight their way up from AAA? Whatever would we have done!??

Unbelievable what people come up with to make excuses for this team not to spend.

Of all the stupid things I've heard, I think "not blocking" the AA prospects takes the cake.

You can’t have someone like Brantley, you know how bad he would make our other guys look at the plate. People would then expect that from the rest of lineup and the fans would be up in arms. Our best guy in 0.270’s keeps it all in perspective

I would like them to spend just not the 10year contracts, as I have said before Altuve is what I want modeled, 5 years and high AAV.

The fact is they could have transformed this lineup with even Cruz's $13M or Brantleys 2 year contract.

The only thing they can't do is nothing.

If Fraley settles in to being an everyday player that's even close to what he was, I'd love him at leadoff. My ideal lineup would be
