Not too many great things with the prospects yesterday. Kelenic debuted with a single up the middle, ended up 1-4. Sheffield with a pretty good start, but not great. 3 ER in 5.2 ip with 8K and 2 BB. Gave up a leadoff HR to stud prospect Dylan Carlson (Cardinals top prospect, #52 overall). Then gave up a 2 out 2 run double to CF by Rayder Ascanio (former M's prospect traded for Leake ). Kelenic got his glove on it, but wasn't able to make the catch.

The highlight of the day was Julio though. 4-5 with a double. Kid is going to be a stud.

Kelenic now 3-8 with a double in AA. .875 OPS. My fears of his early promotion dissipating.
