Gregg Bell said Mingo was absolutely horrible and not only never won a one on one pass rush drill the entire camp but got thrown to the ground most of the time.Hanjag wrote: ↑Sat Aug 31, 2019 9:31 pmThis is a good trade from both sides. Clowney is a physical freak 270# who can run 4.5. He could blossom into an defensive MVP candidate. Mingo was also a high draft pick and good not great player. The local guys had good things to say about Jacob Martin working hard and improving just like they said about Clark over the last few years. A #3 draft pick is a big piece to. I thought they needed OL, WR, and RB help. So they get back a couple pass-rushing LG/DE types? And Martin was one of our better pass-rushers so it kind of hurts the SEahawks' depth there.
I think it is a fair trade on both sides.

Wow, I just noticed they cut Cash money Marsh, also Jazz Fergy, and former LOB Deshaun Shedd. I was also rooting for Paxton because he seems to have more upside than the more exp. guy but I trust those guys making the decisions.

You are literally on your own private island if you think it was a fair trade. If it was the other way around (and we got this return for ET one year ago today) Hawks fans would have been jumping off the Aurora bridge.Hanjag wrote: ↑Sat Aug 31, 2019 9:31 pmThis is a good trade from both sides. Is it a fair trade from a historical perspective of trades in the NFL? No. Is it reasonable from the standpoint you are getting a one year rental? Yes. I've never understood why trades in the NFL require such high pics for guys you never know are going to be there the year after be it contract wise or injury. I'm happy with this although I would not have been surprised at all if we had to give up a 1st for him - that's just the way these trades usually work.

^^^^^ what he said.

but yeah, really miss Haener (or Browning) dont we?

Re: Your new DE/OLB Jadeveon Clowney
Former Bellevue High standout had an even better week than we did. He's now the 3rd highest LB at age 23. $33MM guaranteed.
