Thought this would be a fun conversation leading up to the draft. The top ten in the poll were in no particular order and I'm quite sure I left off deserving candidates in my rush to put this up. There is a great article on Field Gulls with some interesting positions.

I am probably going with Wilson. While not my personal favorite, he did bring a lot to the offense when they ran that RPO. While he deserves all the credit for his accomplishments on the field - and the criticisms - he also brought us a truckload of draft capitol via the trade that is transforming the team a second time. yes, he walked into a loaded roster and had the D behind him to get to two SB's - and he is helping us replenish the roster again.

My honorable mentions are the LOB and Bobby Wagner. Both were transformative acquisitions.

I went with Wilson and Sherman - Sherman really did redefine the position - but there are so many great options, Kam, Earl, yada yada yada.

I took Walter Jones. I mean, he was the best in the league for many years, which you can say with arguably more certainty than you can about any of the other players. Between him opening holes for Shaun Alexander and protecting Matt Hasselbeck's back, his positive influence was as much as anyone's.

Russell Wilson is the other.
