I thought they had local broadcasters for the preseason games.
They have like 5 or 6 former Seahawks as color commentators, but always have a national person for play-by-play.

She's actually pretty talented and knowledgeable. I find her voice annoying (like most female voices, it just doesn't sound right in sports commentary). Of course, it is still 100% a virtue signal hire.
Cant be that much worse than what they've had. i've not been super impressed with Raible, dont find his voice particularly pleasing, and whoever it was before that was worse if i recall, way back in the cheapskate Behring days. Got spoiled with best-ever Calabro and Niehaus, which made it stand out even worse that the city's most popular franchise would lag so far behind.
Pete Gross

Died in 1992. He was 2 years older than my Dad and my Dad is still alive 31 years later.

i remember Pete, liked him better than Raibs, just hard to believe we didnt have someone between those two --really only two leads in the 47-year team history ?!!

Couldn't care less about gender and i hope that the "first woman to..." virtue signal by NBC isn't why she got the job.

If you click on the twitter link, this lady corrects the headline to - she is doing preseason this year. That will be 3 games of local
TV broadcast of preseason shitshow where they, you know, spend most of the time having sideline interviews with the appointed
glory players who are too good to actually be in the game in the 2-4th quarter of a preseason game.
I'm betting Raible and Wyman will be doing the radio again.

I like Raible a lot. sorry if you don't.

I think the last couple years we had Curt Menefee and Brock Huard.
Menefee is really damn good, IMO, and I've always liked Brock, even though he's a husky.

Sure but i think we're being deprived of a fuller understanding of the game by not hearing it called from the perspective of members of the trans and non-binary communities.

Now if Brock would dye his hair pink and wear a dress or halter top with padded push-up bra underneath i think that would send a really powerful message about tolerance and inclusivity.

Agreed. And get this... even my own mother can't stand the sound of women's voices. What does that tell you?

Some good stuff in here. Seems The three Lineman drafted all have a good chance to start especially Young. Mike Jackson wins the Player of OTAs award.

if anyone still listens to Softy, he'd have an automatic retort to that comment: "FORTY-ONE YARDS!!!"
